Hosting a Group
Would you consider hosting a Crossroads Small Group?
Matthew 9:36 says that when Jesus saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. When I look across the crowds who come to worship at Crossroads each week, I see the faces of many unconnected people. People who need others to come alongside them and love them into a responsive and maturing relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have already found connection in a group at Crossroads, you know first hand the value of building relationships and growing together with others in a group. What would it be like if we gave everyone the chance to experience connection and growth in a group? What would we see?
I imagine we would see people moving God from the fringes of their lives toward the center. We'd see people opening their lives more and more to their neighbors, their community, and the world and reaching out to them with His love. We'd see people's lives increasingly transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. We'd see people investing more in God's kingdom by serving and giving through their talents, gifts, time, resources and more.
Can you imagine the expansion of God's kingdom we would see if everyone at Crossroads discovered connection in a group and began to grow in their faith together? I'm committed to making this a reality at Crossroads. Will you join me in this venture?
