New Community

New Community Classes
One of the best ways to get involved at Crossroads is to start with New Community! New Community is four classes taught by Pastor Keith, the Campus Pastors and other ministry leaders. It is designed to familiarize you with what we at Crossroads believe and to assist you in finding your place in God’s plan.

If you have children between the ages 0 through 11, we have trained volunteers that provide activities and care for you children while you’re in any of the new community classes (pre-registration is necessary for this).

This is a basics introduction to our church designed to clearly explain who and what we are about. This class discusses Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy, and Our Structure. This class is taught by our Lead Pastor Keith Boyer and the campus pastors. This is a great opportunity to learn about Crossroads Community Church , get to know others, and have a free meal as well. A second four-hour class that is team taught, as a new believer you might wonder, “Now what?” or after awhile, “Isn’t there more?” Learn how to develop and maintain a continually fresh and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Topics include learning about God from the Bible, communicating with God through prayer and connecting with others in true Biblical community through small groups.

God didn’t design church ministry for a select few with seminary degrees. Here at Crossroads, every member of our church is a minister. That’s what this class is all about. It’s an exciting, fast-paced afternoon, designed to help you discover you’re SHAPE for ministry at Crossroads.

Your SHAPE is one-of-a-kind. It’s a combination of your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experiences.

You’ll be encouraged to schedule a follow-up SHAPE discovery session to talk one-on-one with a shape guild about your SHAPE profile. Your shape guide will help connect you with a Crossroads ministry where God can use you to make a lasting impact
